JD FARMS AND KENNEL
JD Farms is now accepting new students for our English and Western riding program. For beginners to intermediate levels. All ages welcome. We offer private and group lessons. We can also travel to your farm for private lessons or get a couple barn buddies together for a group lesson.
Lessons: Private and group lessons on one of our well trained quiet school horses or feel free to trailer-in. We will also travel to your farm to train you and your horse in the relaxed setting of home.
1st lesson $60.00 for 1 hour private lesson.
$40.00 for 1 hour ages 6 and up (semi group / private
$30.00 for 1/2 hour private (or under 6 years old)
Training for your miniature horse: We offer natural horsemanship training for the young and older horse. Specializing in a good foundation of ground training for the younger horse. Long lining, fitting for shows, obstacle training. $450.00 Month (Board included)
Clinics: We offer many different types of clinics for the horse and rider through out the year. Please email us on dates and rates. Clinics can also be held at your farm.
Camp: Day camps and week long summer camps. Campers must be at least 6 years old at time of camp. Camps are held from 9am - 3pm daily. Campers will need to bring a change of clothes, riding pants and boots, and a packed lunch. $300.00 for Monday-Friday 9-3. Daily rate $65.00. All camps include: riding, learning, games, and crafts, snack and drinks.
Girl Scouts: Earn your badges through us! Bring your troop for a few hours of hands fun while learning all about the wonderful world of horses. Students will be able to groom and have a chance to experience the thrill of riding one of our horses. As well as learning about the daily care of the horses. Contact us for group rates.
Birthday Parties/Pony Rides: We offer many different packages to fit your budget. Parties can be held at your home, business or at our farm. Horses and ponies of all sizes to fit your needs. Lets us make your next party one that no one will forget!
